My name is Michelle Mitchell, RN, BSN, MSN, CMC, CDP, and I founded Nova Geriatric Care Consultants to provide the level of personalized, detail-oriented care I’d want for my own parents.

Unlike large agencies where you might get a different case worker every month, Nova is a boutique solo practice offering 1:1 guidance. That means when you call, you get me. It means I know your mother’s favorite tea, your father’s medical history, and exactly which nurse to talk to at your facility.

Why “Local” Matters. Geriatric care is hyper-local. A care manager in Maryland won’t know the specific waitlists for the best memory care in McLean or the intricacies of Fairfax County’s ElderLink resources. I’ve spent decades building relationships with:
